These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of AiFolio. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using AiFolio on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts engaged in misuse of the platform.

You retain all rights to the books, chapters, covers, and other content you create with AiFolio. You grant us a limited licence to host, back up, and process your content solely to provide the service — including running AI writing, editing, and design features you request. We never sell your writing to third parties.

AiFolio uses AI to generate outlines, drafts, and designs based on your input. Output is provided "as is" — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated content before publishing or selling it, and for ensuring it does not infringe the rights of others.

Templates and the Premium plan are sold through Stripe. One-time purchases are charged at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be managed or cancelled at any time from the Billing page. Refunds are handled per applicable consumer law and our refund practices.

You may not use AiFolio to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful; to attempt to access other users' data without authorisation; to interfere with the service; or to resell access without permission. We may remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules.

If you are in the UK, EU, or anywhere GDPR-style law applies, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable format. We process personal data on the bases of contract performance (running your account and projects), consent (communications you opt into), and legitimate interest (service security and improvement). Data may be processed by our service providers outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. You can exercise any right by contacting us through the Help & Support page, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service or the law; material changes will be signalled by the updated date on this page. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
